Wenzhou Economic and Trade Delegation Visits Saudi Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Signs Global Investment Partnership Framework Agreement
Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaOn the afternoon of April 22, 2025, at 3:00 pm, a Wenzhou economic and trade delegation led by Wang Zhenyong, Vice Mayor of Wenzhou Municipal Government in Zhejiang Province, visited the Saudi Chinese Chamber of Commerce and was warmly received by Mr. Zhang Xing, President of the Saudi Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
At the symposium, President Zhang Xing warmly welcomed Vice Mayor Wang Zhenyong and his delegation on behalf of the Saudi Chinese Business Federation, and provided a detailed introduction to the development history of the Saudi Chinese Business Federation since its establishment in 2016. He pointed out that since its establishment, the Saudi Chinese Business Association has actively built a bridge for Sino Saudi commercial cooperation and is committed to creating a favorable development environment for Chinese enterprises in Saudi Arabia. President Zhang also shared years of investment experience in Saudi Arabia with the members of the Federation present, focusing on analyzing the new opportunities and future development trends in Saudi Arabia's economic transformation process.
After the symposium, the Saudi Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Wenzhou Municipal Government delegation held a cooperation signing ceremony. President Zhang Xing and Director Xu Haiyan of Wenzhou Investment Promotion Bureau officially signed the "Wenzhou Global Investment Cooperation Partner Framework Agreement" on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, both parties will work together to promote the "going global" strategy of Wenzhou enterprises, strengthen industrial layout and investment cooperation in the Middle East, and inject new momentum into achieving high-quality opening-up to the outside world.
Subsequently, the delegation also visited the ceramic tile factory invested and built by President Zhang Xing in Saudi Arabia, and highly praised its advanced production equipment, intelligent management system, and localized operation mode.
This visit and the signing of the cooperation agreement mark a new stage of pragmatic and in-depth economic and trade exchanges between Wenzhou City and Saudi Arabia, laying a solid foundation for practical cooperation between the two regions in key areas such as manufacturing, building materials, and infrastructure in the future.
